Luna Projects has a reputation for creativity, hard work, professionalism and completing on time and budget. Below are a few client comments from a variety of projects:

"Luna Projects helped us create a natural and stimulating woodland in our school, enabling the children to explore and develop their learning in a safe, outside environment. Rob always brings fresh ideas as to how we can further improve the space and it's a pleasure to benefit from his creativity and professionalism."
Emma Eardley, Assistant Headteacher & KS1 Phase Leader, Seymour Primary School, Crawley

"Rob at Luna Projects solved a number of issues with our garden. We now have a large, purpose-built wooden greenhouse/shed and a set of bespoke compost bins to replace our decaying mass-built bins. Highly recommended!"
Martin Healey, private client project, Brighton

"Rob is a true master craftsman and an outstanding builder who takes immense pride in everything he does. From scratch, he and the Luna Projects team built me a beautifully hand-crafted, spectacular, topsy-turvy treehouse for Blackberry Wood campsite. The treehouse comfortably sleeps two adults/two children and has a fully self-contained toilet, kitchen and shower room built inside its deliberately wonky turret! Rob and his team worked in all weathers, embracing challenges, getting on with the job, always coming up with new ideas and problem-solving.

They took my initial brief and made it into something wonderful, dealing with planning regulations and paperwork along the way. Not only does Rob produce fantastic, bespoke timber work, he's a lovely bloke and also brings in local people to work with. If he's available, make sure you book him for your next timber works, garden room, landscaping or planting project - you won't regret it. Luna Projects are currently building me a second treehouse due to popular demand!"
Tim Johnson, Owner, Blackberry Wood campsite, Streat, Near Ditchling

"Rob at Luna Projects worked with me on the design of a bespoke, covered pergola for our terrace. It has six opening shutters which all open independently on a pulley system, enabling just the right amount of light or shade. The pergola was beautifully crafted and mainly built off-site, which meant little or no disruption.

Construction was smooth and expertly done and the envy of all our neighbours! Rob also corrected some issues with depth of stair tread on our garden steps and built a retaining wall for the garden's bottom terrace - this too was problem free. It was a pleasure to work with Rob whose cheerful and sensitive demeanour enables him to listen and understand the brief, whilst also bringing lots of ideas of his own to the project."
Jo Bailey, private client project, Brighton

"Rob worked with a group of young people in foster care, helping them plan and build a sustainable eco garden and den. His knowledge and enthusiasm was amazing and he engaged well with both the young people and adults."
Clare Smith, Team Manager - Fostering, Brighton & Hove City Council

"Rob provided us with a variety of design alternatives for a fairly major redesign of our garden. He then delivered our chosen version including groundworks, landscape features and raised beds. He is particularly good with woodworking and I would recommend him for his great variety of skills. Also a really nice guy."

Stephen Healey, private client project, Peacehaven

"Rob Demel was an absolute pleasure to work with on a job that required creativity, attention to detail and research. He provided consultancy work, helped on the design and sourced lumber materials for a pop-up treehouse bar for Innocent Drinks. They were delighted with the end result and so were we! Rob helped create a 'wow factor' and I would definitely turn to him again should an opportunity arise."
Fraser MacAndrew, Owner/Director, We Make Stuff Happen, Brighton

"Rob worked alongside myself and our Assistant Head to help formulate options, create, design, project manage and construct bespoke timber solutions to our educational vision. Projects included an outside maths and science classroom, playground magic number boards, a totem pole, wetland and nature reserve and bespoke benches and planters.

He is highly skilled and knowledgeable about what resources to use, most of which are recyclable and helping the environment we live in. This has taught the children what can be achieved with a piece of recycled wood. On phase one of the wetland project we were able to discuss clear objectives, and how important it was for it to be as natural as possible. Rob advised on planting and what was best for the wildlife that visits, and on drainage issues, helping to relieve them.

The wetland and nature reserve area are amazing for the children’s learning. To be able to pond dip in a safe environment on our school grounds will be such a joy and learning experience, not only for our community but locality schools in our area. The dreams we had for our wetland and nature reserve have been totally fulfilled."
Cheryl Thompson-Balk, Premises Officer, St Margaret's School, Ifield

"I am a garden designer working in Sussex and have used Rob on many occasions, creating treehouses, adventure playgrounds, bespoke summer houses, garden benches and much more. He is a craftsman of the highest standard and being very creative, the work he produces is wonderful. I find he works really well with clients of mine and spends time to understand each customer's needs with a friendly, honest approach. I can't recommend him highly enough."
Owen Brooks, Garden Design/Planting Specialist, Purely Planting, Portslade

"Rob Demel helped us to invigorate our playground area. Being a city centre school, we do not have the luxury of grass and rolling fields, so his ideas brought artificial grass and natural trees to us! We now have a quiet area for children to use, surrounded by bedding planters and pergolas. We also have a section of seating (with leaf carvings), interspersed with planters for trees for children, which is well used at playtimes."
Katie Cassiano, School Secretary, St Mary Magdalen's Primary School, Brighton
